Novaphos F50 is a metal phosphate pre-treatment used to substantially increase paint adhesion on metal components and impart additional corrosion resistance. It is suitable for application on steel and other ferrous metals as well as zinc surfaces.
Novaphos F50 can be applied by spray or immersion across a wide range of temperatures from 35-60C. This amorphous alkali metal pre-treatment is supplied in highly concentrated liquid form and produces a coating weight significantly higher than more conventional phosphate pre-treatments.
Novaphos F50 can be dosed automatically, using Novamax process equipment, and can be used alongside an appropriate Ridosol detergent additive in cleaning and pre-treating the first of a multi-stage wash process.
