Hubbard-Hall’s Black Magic CBL is a liquid concentrate hot black oxide for copper, brass and bronze, formulated to give excellent paint adhesion and a wear resistant finish. For the ultimate black finish, on high zinc-alloyed copper surfaces, Black Magic CBL should be used in conjunction with Black Magic BAL (Brass Activator Liquid).
Typical applications for Black Magic CBL include door and cabinet hardware, black body heat absorption, non-reflective optics, architectural and garden items, decorative metal accessories, plumbing hardware such as sinks and taps, medallions and plaques, as well as buttons and buckles.
Black Magic CBL is RoHS and REACH Compliant, and meets Military Spec MIL F 495.
