Hubbard-Hall’s Black Magic RT S 30 is a liquid concentrate solution, which has been formulated for blackening powdered metal and steel, by immersion. It is very effective, with minimal smut generation on porous powdered or sintered metal and stampings, as well as machined, ground, spring, hardened and polished steel and high silicon alloys.
The liquid is diluted with water (one part to nine parts water), within a temperature range of 21-32C, and activation works effectively with Black Magic Predip P solution, which may also be used as an activator for difficult-to-blacken passive steel surfaces, or as a conditioner to enhance the evenness of colour between machined and un-machined areas.
Black Magic RT S 30 is mildly acidic, therefore all health and safety guidelines on usage should be followed. The solution complies with RoHS and REACH.
