Mykal De.Solv.It Aqueous Degreaser DSI 3000 combines the grease-cutting ability of solvents and the lifting strength of surfactants to detach and remove grease and oil, ink, lapping slurry, and polishing compounds from surfaces. It has low environmental impact and multiple approvals for use in aerospace applications.
Aqueous Degreaser DSI 3000 is supplied as a highly-concentrated fluid with a clear yellow colour and an agreeable odour. It may be used neat or diluted down to as little as 5% concentration for greater economy. It is simply applied to the soiled surface and left for 2-3 minutes. Longer exposures and agitation may be required for severely soiled work. The product is water soluble and can be easily rinsed off with plain water.
Aqueous Degreaser DSI 3000 has no ozone depleting chlorinated solvents and a negligible VOC content. It is not classed as environmentally hazardous, and is biodegradable. Its surfactants comply with the biodegradability criteria of Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents. It has low toxicity and consequently has high Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs).
De.Solv.It Aqueous Degreaser DSI 3000 is a versatile and environmentally-friendly alternative to white spirit and paraffin. It can be employed in manual cleaning, pressure washer and floor scrubbing, or ultrasonic cleaning baths (optimum temperature 50C).
