Aqua 8 from the Aquasolv range is a highly effective concentrated cleaning product suitable for both spray and flood wash processes. It powerfully removes grease, heavy oil, and carbon build-up from ferrous metal and plastic components, while remaining environmentally-responsible and presenting little hazard to users.
Aquasolv Spray Wash Cleaner-Plus is a biodegradable alkaline cleaner which can be highly-diluted and applied at moderate temperature in volume manufacturing operations, during inter-stage cleaning or before assembly, or during maintenance work.
Typical applications are at only 2-5% concentration, although for heavy cleaning up to 10% may be used, while some exceptional work may require up to 20% concentration. Application temperature will depend on the degree of contamination and the process, and is typically in the range 40-70C. Both the low concentration and the low application temperature make this an economical product.
The low-foaming action of Aqua 8 makes it suitable for flood or high-pressure spray cleaning, and the product is fully rinsable to leave a clear residue-free finish. Up to 12 months corrosion protection, subject to storage conditions, results from the incorporation of vapour corrosion inhibitors (VCIs).
Aquasolv Aqua 8 contains no nitrites or phosphates, presents no specific disposal problems, and is non-bioaccumulating. It is safer and easier to handle than caustic materials, and is fully water-soluble.
