Aquasolv Ultrasonic Cleaner-Plus, Aqua 22, is an essential ingredient in single- or multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning processes for the removal of heavy contaminants from components. The heavily-diluted solution facilitates cavitation and degassing, upon which the ultrasonic cleaning process depends, maximising the efficacy of the technique.
It is remarkably effective on troublesome contaminants such as brake dust, as well as dirt, oil and grease, making ultrasonic cleaning with Aqua 22 an excellent method of cleaning components during remanufacturing operations.
Aqua 22 Ultrasonic Cleaner-Plus has low toxicity and is solvent-free. It is classified as non-hazardous for waste disposal – appropriate permissions are still required – and is biodegradable and non-bioaccumulating.
The solution is diluted to just 2-5% concentration, meaning that Aqualsolv Ultrasonic Cleaner-Plus offers an economical and safer alternative to caustic materials. Application is at just 40-70C, depending on the degree of soiling, which is lower than many comparable products and a further boost to economy. Aqua 22 Ultrasonic Cleaner-Plus is supplied in liquid form with a brownish colour and a low odour, has a non-foaming action and is completely water-rinseable. It contains no nitrites or phosphates.
Aqueous Process Cleaners from the Aquasolv range are highly-concentrated and solvent-free degreasers for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metal.
