Petroferm AXAREL 32 is a semi-aqueous spray and immersion cleaner designed for ambient or heated defluxing applications. This proprietary cleaner is a mixture of highly-refined solvents and surfactants. AXAREL 32 is a water-rinsable cleaner, selected for its excellent solvency, easy rinsing, high soil loading, temperature flexibility and process versatility. AXAREL 32 is also selected for its ability to separate from water in the rinse section, providing solvent recovery and recycling.
AXAREL 32 effectively removes ionic contamination and high temperature solder flux residues from Surface Mount Devices (SMDs) and other electronic components. AXAREL 32 offers excellent compatibility with most substrates and materials used in electronic assembly cleaning applications. It is not recommended for use with RTV silicones, polystyrenes or polycarbonates. AXAREL 32 does not contribute to ozone depletion and its components are approved by the US EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) as an alternative to ozone depleting substances.
