Bioact SC-10 is a powerful yet environmentally-friendly cleaner for electronics assemblies and stencils. It will quickly remove uncured Surface Mount Device (SMD) adhesive from circuit boards and raw solder paste from stencils and assembly misprints.
Bioact SC-10 offers rapid drying, high soil loading, and excellent solvency. It may be applied by hand-wipe or immersion methods and is a suitable replacement for isopropyl alcohol (IPA), toluene, xylene, acetone, trichloroethylene (TCE or Trike) and other flammable solvents.
As well as adhesives and pastes, Bioact SC-10 is effective for the removal of no-clean fluxes, rosin, many acrylic and silicone conformal coatings, flux and tape residues, and fingerprints.
Bioact SC-10 has a much lower environmental impact than traditional electronics cleaners, with zero ozone depletion potential and low global warming potential. Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) output can be reduced by around 85% compared to isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and the product has low exposure hazards.
Formulated from a mixture of hydrocarbons, alcohols, and citrus terpenes, Bioact SC-10 has a mild citrus odour and is available in fluid form or as pre-saturated, very low-lint wipes.
