Lenium HFT is another formulation in Petroferm’s Lenium range of vapour degreasing solvents. It is designed to remove difficult materials including fluorinated fluids, greases, hydraulic oils and metalworking fluids. It is suitable for use in vapour degreasing equipment and in ‘cold cleaning’ applications.
Lenium HFT is ideally suited to replace trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene, methylene chloride, HCFC-225, HCFC-141b and n-propyl bromide (nPB). The components of LENIUM HFT are accepted by the US EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) as an alternative to ozone depleting substances. The proprietary blend is a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) cleaner with zero ozone depletion potential. According to EC Regulation No. 842/2006 on Certain Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases (F-Gas rules) in the EU, the GWP of this product is 55.
