Solvag ES Plus is a powerful solvent cleaner for vapour degreasing, designed for defluxing and the removal of solder paste residues. It is designed to operate as a co-solvent or bi-solvent, in combination with Petroferm Lenium IPS rinsing agent or Petroferm Vapour Rinse Agent. Thus applied, it will prove effective at the removal of rosin, no-clean and water-soluble flux residues including baked-on flux residue.
Solvag ES Plus has low volatility and is compatible with all standard electronics substrates. Used alongside Lenium IPS in dual-sump vapour degreasers it allows variability in temperature and solvency, a uniquely versatile arrangement in such a process.
In the two-solvent process, Solvag ES Plus and Lenium EPS are deployed in separate tanks for bi-solvent vapour degreasing. This bi-solvent approach allows the Solvag ES Plus to be used at a higher temperature than the co-solvent method.
Solvag ES Plus has proven to be an excellent replacement for fluorinated monosolvents including hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), hydrofluoroethers (HFEs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs). Not only is it a technical replacement for these environmentally-damaging compounds, it is also an economical choice.
